Princeton's registry of deeds recorded 14 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but sale prices have posted for only two so far: $22,000 and $40,000, a median of $31,000 among the priced deals. The other 12, including two each on Ball Hill Road and Sterling Road, have no price on file yet, which typically appears within about a week of recording. The period's highest-priced transfer on record, 274 Brooks Station Rd. at $40,000, sold Sept. 14. Nine of the 14 transfers involved a bank, credit union, or mortgage-registration entity as a party, and two were trust transfers. With most prices still outstanding, the period's overall market tone cannot yet be read from the available data.
