TOWN HALL
The Attorney General's office has approved Articles 17 and 18 from the 2026 Annual Town Meeting, according to a notice posted on the town's website. State law requires the Town Clerk's office to submit any adopted or amended general or zoning bylaws to the Attorney General for review within 30 days of Town Meeting, and that office must sign off before the changes take legal effect.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
Princeton Public Library's building access is limited this week. The ramp to the library remained inaccessible as of Thursday, September 17, leaving the stairs as the only entry point; residents who need materials brought out to them are asked to call the library directly. The library was also closed Friday, September 18, while crews milled the driveway and parking lots ahead of repaving, part of ongoing site work at 2 Town Hall Drive.
Looking ahead, the library's fall calendar includes several recurring programs. Outdoor Storytime with Nicole continues most Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., and the Roots & Wings Mother's Support Group meets most Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
COMING UP
The Evening Book Group meets Tuesday, September 29, at 7 p.m. at Princeton Public Library, following Outdoor Storytime with Nicole that same morning at 10:30 a.m. Looking further out, Book Eaters for grades three through five is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6 (per the library calendar, October dates begin appearing after the 29th), with the Middle School Book Club and a Roots & Wings session also on the library's early October schedule. Residents should check princetonpubliclibrary.org for exact confirmation as repaving work may affect access in the interim.
